Just Because You Move Your Hips, Doesn't Mean That You Exist

So yeah, I don't have anything to talk about today, so I thought I'd post a story that I wrote back in January.

This is a story that I've wanted to write for a long time, and I certainly had a lot of time on my hands between girls. Last year, when I created a short film for Campus Movie Fest, this is the initial concept that I wrote for the film. Unfortunately, the actress I had met with bailed on me on the last second, and as a result, I had to write a new film. I love the film, that I wrote last year, and it almost won, but I feel like I would have had a better chance of wining had I shot my original concept. Fortunately, my friend Lauren, an acting major, has volunteered to play the part of Yvonne in my film this year! I'll keep you posted.

I'll be going to the State Fair tomorrow with my family. It's a bit of a tradition in my family, so I'm absolutely stoked to spend time with them!

Yesterday, I reconnected with Ashley. And yes, she'd read my blog since we originally disconnected. I must say, that it's really refreshing to create a fresh, new bond with someone who made such a major impact on my life. Things were really tense originally, but then again, so were my feelings toward her. I can't describe why I felt to lost after she and I separated, but it was valuable to me on so many levels. It taught me to never give up on myself, and what I need in a partner. The small fears of falling for her all over again were extinguished immediately after she and I finished talking yesterday. She's been very kind to me so far, and I appreciate another sincere friend by my side.
