Hey there friends.
So I really wanted to wait to write another post until something interesting in my life happened. Unfortunately, nothing legitimately interesting has happened, but you get the point.
So I suppose the headline of today's post should be the fact that I'm playing Runescape again. If you didn't know, I used to play this game called Runescape on and off for (going on) 10 years. I must say that this game is the game that I've put the most time into overall. Oh, the memories Runescape and I have. I'm not so sure what drove me to start playing again, but I guess I just wanted a fresh new game to hold me over for a while again. To be honest, I feel like I've never been so addicted to this game. Like, I really want to play it right now as I sit here. And I might have influenced a friend of mine to play as well! In the game, you fight deadly monsters, embark on epic quests, and train your basic skills. Most of the time, quests will require certain levels in individual skills in order to complete them. This makes them very challenging, as the quest I am trying to do requires level 75 in like 7 skills. While most of them took no time to level, it is proving quite the task to finish up those final few. Hopefully, I'll be able to achieve the necessary requirements within a week or two. If I finish the quest, I'll gain access to the illustrious elven city of Prifddinas. It's my goal, although I don't quite know why. I just feel that it is my light at the end of the tunnel. It's an easily achievable goal, even if it does test my scaping abilities!
In other news, I've met this girl around my age on a social networking site I use. It's called tumblr. Essentially, it's a cult-like blogging site that uses pictures. You can reblog other people's content and share it to your blog. It's really a great site, regardless of the controversy that often surrounds it. Anyhow, I started talking to one of my followers. Well, maybe she started talking to me first. But we had a little back and forth for a couple days, and she told me to text her. For a couple weeks now, we've been conversing. Her name is Sarah. She's a pretty cool chick. She's from New Jersey, and her music taste is very similar to mine. Sarah's a great friend, even if she is a little air-headed. I haven't told her this, but she's really helped me out emotionally. See, I don't like her in a romantic way (per say), but having a girl to talk to is really helping me stay emotionally-stable in wake of this whole Caroline thing. I'm so glad that I have her as a friend. She and I tease each other a lot, and I'm pretty sure she thinks she means nothing to me, but she does. She's been a huge help, and I couldn't ask for a better support system.
Well, that just about wraps up the major events that spans the time between last time I posted.
Thanks for tuning in!
